The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested three Trinamool Congress (TMC) West Bengal legislators, including ministers Firhad Hakim and Subrata Mukherjee, sources said on Monday, over a major four-year corruption scandal. a case that sent disputes to the political parties of the state. They are all registered under Section 120 B of the Indian Penal Code (criminal conspiracy), Section 13 (2), 13 (1D) and Section 7 of the Anti-Corruption Act.
