The message is that your health insurance
will be canceled by Covid job
People are being warned to look
out for messages that appear to come from an official insurance company, saying
that having a Covid vaccine jov would make your life insurance policy ineffective.
False messages claiming to come
from Allianze - but actually counterfeit - say: "If you agreed to take the
Covid-19 vaccine your license was 'self-made', it was your choice to undergo a
medical examination and therefore insurance would not cover any damage or death
. "
The counterfeit note was spotted
by Allianz of Australia, and has been sent to UK customers, reports The Mirror.
Gwilym Pugh, a health insurance
specialist at I’m Insured, said: “The Association for British Insurers has
clearly stated that having a Covid-19 vaccine will not affect your cover.
“Although life insurance
providers have begun inquiring about the coronavirus applicant's history, no
one has taken steps to leave it as a necessary event, and they have never
raised any issue regarding whether or not to have a vaccine.
“Life insurance policies are
rarely included in the alternative and none involve non-payment for epidemics
or viruses. In fact, any death is a necessary event, including that of the
covid-19. "
Warning as scammers claim that
Covid-19 vaccine invalidates life insurance policies
Members of the public are
reminded that the Covid vaccine will not work for life insurance, and among
gangs of criminals targeting people will be filed false claims under the sign
of legitimate insurance companies.
The warning comes after a spate
of fraudulent messages from fraudsters claiming to be from Allianz's insurance.
These messages falsely claim
that a coronavirus vaccine will invalidate your life insurance policy.
The scam messages read: "If
you agreed to take the Covid-19 vaccine your license was 'self-made', it was
your choice to have a medical examination and the insurance would not cover any
damage or death."
The counterfeit document was
first spotted by Allianz of Australia, and has also been sent to UK customers.
In recent weeks it has become
increasingly speculated that health insurance companies will not pay claims if
a person dies within one year of receiving the Covid-19 vaccine, and that
taking that policy will invalidate any health insurance policies.

Will
my life insurance pay for Covid-19? Example of messages posted to a community
Yes.
All leading UK insurers have
assured you that, if you have existing life insurance and are dying due to
Covid-19, they will pay you a claim if all other terms and conditions of the
policy are met. This means that your premium must be up to date and all
questions on the policy must be answered correctly.
However, if your policy has
expired because you did not comply with your premiums, or you have made a false
statement such as lying about smoking, your policy may be revoked.
Can
I get life insurance if I have Covid-19?
Yes. You may get health
insurance if you have been diagnosed with a variety of conditions.
An important point to note here
is that you must be honest and accurate when completing the cover application
form.
Therefore, you will need to
disclose that you have the virus in your suggestion form and explain the
severity of your symptoms. Common questions can include whether you have been
diagnosed with HIV and whether you have been in close contact with an infected
person.
Does
the COVID-19 vaccine affect my health insurance?
No. The Association for British
Insurers is clear to point out that having the COVID-19 vaccine will not affect
your cover.
