We present to you the inspiring quotes of Gautam Buddha at this special Buddha Jayanti event:

Every experience, no matter how bad, may keep some kind of blessing in mind. The goal is to get it.

Don't dwell on the past, Don't dream on the future, Focus on the present.

Life is the greatest gift, the satisfaction of riches, the loyalty of good relationships.

When you light a lamp for someone, it will light your way.

Nothing exists alone; everything has to do with everything else.

Thousands of candles can be lit by a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness does not diminish with sharing.

Unemployment is a short road to death and industriousness is a way of life; the simple do the foolish, the shrewd are diligent.

Every wrong done arises because of the idea. If the mind is changed can it continue to do wrong?

My luxurious life in the palace or my life of self-denial in the jungle is not the way to freedom.

No one can escape death and unhappiness. If people only hope for happiness in life, they will be disappointed.

Better a poor horse than no horse at all. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be removed from you.

Do not believe anything, no matter where you read it, whoever said it, no matter what I said, unless it agrees with your reason and your own mind.

Teach this threefold truth to all: A kind heart, a kind speech, and a working life and compassion are the things that rejuvenate the personality.

Fearing the loss of the crowned Kapilavastu prince, the Buddha's family locked him in the palace chambers. When Buddha turned 29 he was able to see life outside the palace. Gautama Buddha first saw three objects, an old man, a corpse and a sick man. These three areas have made him realize that life is full of misery and is only temporary.
