On Wednesday, 29 people were in ICU and 11 were undergoing treatment for cold-related illness in a hospital in northeast India, but none had the virus. The latest cases were in Rajasthan, the Daily said. The earlier deaths were from Punjab. In India, coronaviruses cause both human and animal disease. On Friday, the newspaper reported 28 people were in a hospital in India. It said 26 were aged less than 20. On Thursday, it said 19 people were in hospital. The latest cases were confirmed on Friday, the Daily said. On Monday, 31 people were admitted in India to a hospital after contracting the coronavirus, it said. The same day, India said it had 49 cases of suspected coronavirus infections. These included 16 confirmed cases of the virus. On Sunday, 25 people were admitted to hospital with suspected illness. There were more than 600 cases of the virus in the world, most in Saudi Arabia.
