New Coronavirus Cases in India Live News: India is fighting a tiring war of saving its loved ones from the deadly coronavirus. As the nation recorded more than two lakh Covid cases, for the third day in a row, many are also finding it difficult to give a dignified send-off to their beloved. Delhi, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Bhopal, Surat, Ahmedabad-ever city in India has the same story-cremation/burial grounds lined up with ambulances, PPE-clad relatives with tokens in their hand. India on Saturday lost 1,341 citizens due to Covid, the highest the nation has seen since the coronavirus pandemic began. The 'help me' messages on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram blows the lid from the official claims that there is no problem in supply of Remdesivir, ICU beds etc.

On Saturday, after days of concern, the Prime Minister addressed the Kumbh Mela Akhadas directly on Twitter and asked them to observe the key Hindu event in a 'symbolic' way due to Covid wave. This comes as almost half of India is under some kind of restrictions and tough curbs imposed by the state administrations to break the chain of the coronavirus.
